SOLD OUT (see note below on how to obtain a copy).

This collection creates a portrait of Charlottesville, Virginia and the University of Virginia as seen through the lens of legendary photographer, Ed Roseberry. Edited by photographer and photo historian Steve Trumbull, these photos represent some of Roseberry's best work. They provide a bold visual history to be enjoyed by both Charlottesville citizens and visitors to this remarkable city.

Spanning the 1940s through the 1970s, Ed Roseberry built an extensive archive of places, people and events in central Virginia. Many of these photos are seen here for the very first time.

This book is now OUT OF PRINT and the single copy option is SOLD OUT. It is no longer available in bookstores and can only be purchased through our online store as part of a signed, pre-packaged bundle with "Charlottesville Then & Now" (See that listed in this online catalogue). The remaining copies are SIGNED by photographer Ed Roseberry and the writer/editor Steve Trumbull. We will be working on an expanded, second edition sometime in the future.
