This collection creates a portrait of Charlottesville, Virginia and the University of Virginia as seen through the lens of legendary photographer, Ed Roseberry. Edited by photographer and photo historian Steve Trumbull, these photos represent some of Roseberry's best work. They provide a bold visual history to be enjoyed by both Charlottesville citizens and visitors to this remarkable city.
Spanning the 1940s through the 1970s, Ed Roseberry built an extensive archive of places, people and events in central Virginia. Many of these photos are seen here for the very first time.
This book is now OUT OF PRINT. It is no longer available in bookstores and can only be purchased through our online store. Our supply is very low and with other projects planned we will not be reordering. Give as a gift or stash one away as a COLLECTORS ITEM. All remaining copies are SIGNED by photographer Ed Roseberry and the writer/editor Steve Trumbull.
